A WELCOMING WORD FROM OUR CLUB PRESIDENT GEORGI NEDYALKOV

Welcome to the Rotary Club of Cairo Cosmopolitan.

Our club (District 2451) was founded in October 1989 as the first English-speaking Rotary Club in Egypt with weekly meetings over breakfast.

As a cosmopolitan Club, our aim is to bring together Egyptians and foreigners, building bridges to other countries worldwide. So we welcome foreigners to join our Club. We rotate our presidency every year between Egyptian and foreign members. We are honored to be part of one of the most active clubs in Egypt. 

Our Club has a good blend of all generations. We are honored to have with us as an active member Dr. Mohamed Khayyal as one of our founding members.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank every member who served our club throughout the past 35 years whether as Past Presidents, Board- and Committee-Members or Members, with each one of you we managed to keep our club strong and served the community. On this website we inform you of our present activities and our service projects, as well as our past events and bulletins.

Our regular weekly meeting is on Monday morning for business breakfast from 7.45 - 9 am.

You are most welcome to attend our regular meetings or spouse nights as a visitor or guest of a club member, kindly read our agenda and contact us email.
