The Rotary Club of Cairo Cosmopolitan is an English-speaking club whose members are a mix of Egyptians and expatriates of many nationalities. That mix is deliberate, and it is our strength: it brings different professional backgrounds, different networks and different perspectives to every project we take on.

What we do

We deliver humanitarian projects across Egypt — clean water and sanitation, literacy, medical care, emergency relief and support for children in need. Some projects run for a season; others, like our work with Awlady Orphanage, have continued for years.

Who we are

Our members are professionals and business people who give their time, expertise and networks to the club’s work. We meet weekly, and guests are always welcome.

Part of something larger

The club belongs to Rotary International District 2451 and to a global network of more than a million Rotarians. That network gives a Cairo club access to grants, partnerships and expertise far beyond what it could raise alone.
